FMT has secured the installation contract to install Drive Cam units on over 2000 First Transit managed buses. The Drive Cam Event Recorder captures video of both the driver and the road ahead of the vehicle during normal operation of the bus. It allows the supervisor of the driver to see what the driver was doing and what the driver saw through the windshield during a particular time. FMT is installing these units in Pennsylvania, California, Nevada, Connecticut, Virginia, New Jersey, Minnesota, Colorado, Kansas, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. We have multiple teams of technicians currently assigned to this project and are able to install at 3 or 4 locations simultaneously.

FMT has been installing Cadec tracking and GPS systems in Greyhound buses since 2007. These systems allow Greyhound to track their buses in real time and to identify which driver is currently operating the bus by the driver’s unique log-in information. This system also allows Greyhound to disable a bus remotely in the event of an emergency. FMT installs and repairs these systems on a full-time basis at locations in Philadelphia, PA and Los Angeles, CA.
